Matthew Teter

Matthew Teter graduated from McDaniel College with honors with a degree in Psychology while playing intercollegiate baseball. He went onto Rutgers School of Law in 2012, and after passing the NJ and PA state bars, became a Team Leader in 2013. From 2013 until 2017, Matt was a Team Leader at Keller Williams Washington Township taking the brokerage from its launch with 68 agents to 417 agents before resigning to focus on MAPS Coaching and his wife’s real estate business. In 2015, Matt applied and was accepted as a MAPS Leadership Coach and began coaching Team Leaders and Assistant Team Leaders. In 2018, Matt was invited by former CEO of MAPS, Dianna Kokoszka, to become the first Director of Leadership Coaches. In 2020, Matt resigned as Director to focus on being a full time Executive Leadership Coach. In 2022, Matt partnered with Brian Martin to launch the first Team Leader 30-60-90 course and to date 144 market center leaders have taken the course. Matt has coached more than 400 leaders in the roles of Team Leader, Assistant Team Leader, Operating Principal, Regional Director, Director of Productivity, and Regional Owner. He is also the first MAPS Coach to partner with a Keller Williams Worldwide region to launch a MAPS organization outside of the US. Matt has also launched several title companies as joint venture partnerships with market centers with his business partner Steve Valleau. Matt resides today in Austin, Texas with his wife Regina and their two dogs Enzo and Miura. Matt is an avid runner and reader and he and Regina enjoy traveling when he is not focused on coaching Keller Williams Leaders.
